McKernan is located immediately south of the North Campus of the University of Alberta.

McKernan: a neighbourhood of both older and newer homes, lots of students during the university year, old and new faces, playgrounds/parks, ice rinks, ball diamonds, and happening community events.

WHEN?
Our weekly Community Worship Service is on (you guessed it!) Sunday @ 10:30 a.m.
During the week, at the church and other venues, we have stuff happening - Young Adult Bible Study, Ladies Time Out, and other small groups, support groups, etc. (visit the "Calendar" page)
We also get together for social events and community events /service opportunities during the year.

Men's Group and Evening Prayer Meeting - planned to start in January/February 2012
WHAT?
McKernan Christian Church is a church for all ages.
A church where the Bible is taught; a church where we have a strong love for Jesus.
A church where people love one another and share their lives together.
A church that believes in "reaching out", beyond our walls, to be with and to help others.
At McKernan, we offer both traditional hymns AND contemporary worship music and band!
In other words, something for everyone!

WHERE?
Finding us isn't too difficult!
The church is a couple of blocks south of the University of Alberta (North Campus), and just a couple of blocks from the McKernan/Belgravia LRT (Light Rail Transit) station (see "Map" under "About Us")
We are also only about a block or so off the bicycle route on 76 Avenue.
Easy to find, easy to be at...
WHY?
The reason we exist, the reason we are here...
At McKernan, we meet as a community - a church - because we want to enjoy the company of each other, and to reach out to those who are in need, to show them the love of Jesus, the love He has shown to us in so many ways.
I mean, does it get better than that!
McKernan Christian Church has a motto:
