WHO?

We are a community church, which means we are both in the middle of our community and we are part of our community! The neighbourhood is McKernan, which is located immediately south of the North Campus of the University of Alberta - a place of both older and newer homes, lots of students during the university year, and happening community events. An active neighbourhood and an active church - what a combo!

WHEN?
Our weekly church service is on (you guessed it!) Sunday @ 10:30 a.m. During the week, at the church and other venues, we have stuff happening - Bible Studies, Prayer Meeting, Women's Group, and other small support/study groups (visit the "Calendar" page) We also get together for social events and community events /service opportunities during the year. All church happenings are on the "Calendar" page.
WHAT?
McKernan Christian Church is a church for all ages. A church where the Bible is taught and we have a strong love for Jesus. A church where people love one another and share their lives together. We offer a 'blended' worship experience - traditional hymns, as well as contemporary worship music and band... In other words, something for everyone! Come and see for yourself...
At McKernan Christian Church, we believe in keeping our faith and church simple.
Seriously, Christianity doesn't have to be complicated!
WHERE?
Finding us isn't too difficult! Our church is a couple of blocks south of the University of Alberta North Campus, and a little over a block from the new McKernan/Belgravia LRT (Light Rail Transit) station (see "Map" under "About Us")

WHY?
The reason we exist, the reason we are here...
We meet as a group - a church - because we want to enjoy the company of each other, and to reach out to those who are in need, to show them the love of Jesus, the love He has shown to us in so many ways. I mean, does it get better than that!
